Before uploading your images please read the guidelines in Appendix 4 in the competition rules. Please also remind yourselves with Rule 4.4 and 4.5 and make sure that your images have not been previously entered into either genre as a print or PDI. Images entered previously into a league competition or a different genre competition are permissible. The Committee has updated the Competition rules and these can be found here.... The changes are largely clarifications. In addition guidelines have been added for each of this season's non-league (single genre) competitions. Please take time to read and remind yourselves of the rules. Finally, members are reminded of the rule (5.1.3) not to use black-backed mounting board as they can transfer smudges to the front of light-coloured mounting boards when stacked in the boxes. 2 November 2022SLFWe've done it again! Carshalton came 2nd (by 0.5 point) out of 6 clubs in our PDI SLF round - this means we proceed to the Final in April together with the top 2 clubs in the other round. Six certificates were awarded which included one to John Tickner - congratulations John. 17 October 2022More News from Gerald 10 October 2022News from GeraldThe Grainmakers return on Monday Print competition 1 Deadline approaching Mono and Still Life winners Mailchimp message archive 14 November 2022Many of you will know that Carshalton Camera Club was formed 70 years ago this November. To mark this occasion, your committee has decided it would be nice to have a meal (and a drink) to celebrate. No, the club won’t be paying! On Monday 14th November, there will be no Hall meeting. Instead, join us at 7.30pm for a meal at The Grange, Beddington Park, London Rd, Wallington SM6 7BT. Wives, Husbands and partners are welcome and if you are interested in coming along please let Steve know by Friday 21st October so that numbers can be booked in. We will also need to pre order our food, so please let Steve know your menu choices by Friday 28th October so that he can enter it all into a spreadsheet for The Grange.
