Surrey Photographic Association Biennial Exhibition

The SPA Biennial Exhibition will be held at Guildford House Gallery

18 pictures from Carshalton Camera Club members were accepted in to the exhibition which features the best work from the 52 clubs in the Surrey Photographic Association.

SLF Colour Print Competition Round 1

Carshalton came first in the first round of the SLF Colour Print Competition held on 23 October 2013 at Croydon Camera Club. The judge was Martin Faiers. The scores were:

60th Anniversary interclub Competition

60 of the best pictures from five clubs judged by five judges on five evenings

Congratulations to Bridgnorth and District who are the clear winners with 512.5 points.
Just beating Carshalton to second place by half a point is Haddington Camera Club with 478.5 points.
Despite trailing for the first three rounds York managed to beat Gosport to came forth with 464.5 points.

The highest scoring picture was The Pour by Sylvia Evans at Bridgnorth and District with 48.5 point; gaining full marks from four out of five judges.
In second place was Red Kite by Ian Clarke LRPS from Gosport with a score of 47.5.
Rufous Tailed Humming Bird by John Barker of York came third with 47.0 points.
